We except low expectations!

School the place noone wants to be, the place where hard work is a must for "SOME", the place well at least at my school the grading scale is extremly low. A 60 is passing with a D? That is so ratchet, and pathetic. I mean I know school is hard for some but it doesnt get that bad. Believe it or not some people will do the bare minimum knowing that they can pass. Have higher standards in life, and stop doing the minimum to get by. Your not hurting noone but yourself in the long rung. I'm pretty sure several of the teachers here at Fulton Independent agree. Who made this scale anyway? Whoever did in my opinion must not care about modern day education. I honestly think that this is a complete disappointment. This is what our grading scale says to me "Come to Fulton City where even the lowest expectations are excepted."

The Perception of Y.O.L.O

Y.O.L.O (you only live once). These 4 words have become one of the world's biggest excuses for misbehavior all over the world. Thanks to Drake and his song "The Motto." people everywhere shout these misconstrued words. Back in the day people would look at Y.O.L.O as taking advantage of the day, living for the moment. examples would be like driving a race car, eating exotic foods, or travel to foreign places. Now-a-days these are nothing but an excuse for older people who know right from wrong, to act wild and live life as if no rules and regulation exist. Wake up people everywhere you go in America there will be rules and regulations to follow, so therefore Y.O.L.O isn't an excuse for people and their problems/issues. I don't know and probably never will understand why Y.O.L.O is even used. It's childish,stupid, unitelligiant. But oh well right. With that being said Y.O.L.O! Haha thats not even funny.
